Asean’s first ever drawbridge that connects Kuala Terengganu and Kuala Nerus had a very good opening on the 2nd of June 2019 with many people stopping by to see it. The drawbridge garnered many cars lining up in both directions to be the first users of the drawbridge. As soon as the road cones were removed, motorists and motorcyclists joyfully sounded their alarms!

As it was the opening, many others stopped by on the side to watch the drawbridge being raised. Some even came as early as 6:00 a.m. to marvel the beauty of the bridge! Unfortunately, the footpath for the bridge is yet to be ready. With that said, only cars and motorcycles are able to pass by the bridge for now. We will keep you updated when it is ready!
